Unitus Capital tops Private Equity Transaction Advisor League Tables for H1-2014

Ernst & Young is the Most Active Advisor inclusive of due diligence & other services Continuing its strong run from the previous year, Unitus Capital topped the Venture Intelligence League Tables for Most Active Transaction Advisor (Private Equity) during the first six months of 2014. The firm acted as financial advisor to eight qualifying PE investments during the period (notching up 32 points). Among the transactions advised by Unitus were the $13-M investment by Fidelity Growth Partners and existing investor Aavishkaar in dairy firm Milk Mantra and Norwegian Microfinance Initiative’s investment in microfinance firm Satin Creditcare Network . Ernst & Young retains Most Active Transaction Advisor status inclusive of due diligence, other services Unitus Capital and BMR Advisors made their entry into the top of the Venture Intelligence League Tables for the Most Active Transaction Advisors for Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions deals respectively in calendar 2013. The Venture Intelligence League Tables, the first such initiative exclusively tracking transactions involving India-based companies, are based on volume of PE and M&A transactions (combined with credits based on fulfilment of criteria) advised by Transaction and Legal Advisory firms. Private Equity Unitus Capital made its entry into the top of the Venture Intelligence League Table for Most Active Transaction Advisor (Private Equity) for calendar 2013 acting as financial advisor to 13 qualifying PE investments during the year (and notching up 50 points). E&Y, Unitus Capital Top H1’13 League Tables among Transaction Advisors

Ernst & Young and Unitus Capital topped the Venture Intelligence India League Tables for the Most Active Transaction Advisors to Private Equity deals during the six months ended June 2013. Unitus was the financial advisor to as many as nine PE transactions during the period (earning 34 League Table credit points), while E&Y was the financial advisor to three PE transactions (with 12 points). Including Due Diligence, Taxation and other advisory services, E&Y advised as many as 26 PE transactions (earning 36 points). E&Y was also the financial advisor to six M&A transactions during H1’13 (earning 22 points) and as many as 26 M&A transactions (earning it a total of 42 points) if other advisory services were to be included. AZB & Partners, Ernst & Young Top the League Tables for 2010

Corporate law firm AZB & Partners has topped the Venture Intelligence India League Tables for 2010 as the Most Active Legal Advisor for both Private Equity and M&A deals. AZB advised a total of 90 transactions during the period. Ernst & Young – which advised a total of 34 qualifying transactions - topped the League Tables as the Most Active Transaction Advisor (both PE and M&A) for the year.
