Ashwath Rau of AZB & Partners was the country’s top legal advisor for Private Equity deals (by deal value) in 2024, having advised on transactions totaling INR 14,000 crore . Urvish Shah of India Juris followed, securing deals worth INR 5,827.94 crore . Representing India Juris , Pankti Shah ranked third with INR 3,155.95 crore , with Raghubir Menon of Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co and Sumit Sinha of Phoenix Legal , rounding out the top five.
