Evomo Research & Advancement: the Ahmedabad-based startup is building ‘Saavaj’, a rural utility vehicle (RUV) that aims to replace the Jugaad, an unsafe motor vehicle used for transportation in the country’s hinterland. Evomo, founded in 2008 by Abhinav Kumar,was incubated at the National Institute of Design.
Tutoring ‘D’ Street: a Delhi-based low-cost vocational training company that provides practical online and offline training programs in Microsoft applications such as Excel. Tutorials are customized by job function and contain case studies, mini simulations and tests. The company was founded in 2010 by Abhinav Verma and Rajat Singhal.
Buntea & Bubbley: a Bangalore-based company that retails beverages such as bubble tea and healthy desserts such as frozen yogurt. The company was founded in 2012 by husband-wife team Prerna Singh and Gautam Singh.
Ed-LogIQ: a Gurgaon-based startup that is building products and services to provide a logical and intelligent way for learning and directing students to the career course of their choice and aptitude. It aims to achieve this by implementing psychometric tests, brain training games, neuron gyms and video lectures. The company was founded in January 2012 by IIT Roorkee and BIT Mesra alumni Abhishek Krishna and Raghu Raaj Shekhar.
My Soluttions My Way: an Udaipur-based company that aims to make consumers aware of their rights, help them protect themselves and make providers of faulty goods and services accountable. It also offers fee-based professional financial planning services.
Damini Artisans: Chennai-based Damini Artisans is an indigenous jewellery and accessories label that retails a variety of jewellery ranging from those made of silver and semi-precious metals to gold-plated, costume, glass, paper and Thamara silver jewellery. The company was founded in 2002 by former freelance journalist Parveen Sikkandar.
KumoTeam: owned by Canada-based Kumo Applications, this is a field service automation application that allows companies with field staff to optimize their operations and improve efficiency, tracking and reporting. The company was founded in 2012 by entrepreneur Parikshit Chitalkar.
